London-listed betting and gaming operator GVC Holdings has made two appointments to newly created management positions.

Gabriele Griesbacher joins the group as director of payments and compliance, while Colin Cole-Johnson takes up the role of gaming product director, both beginning in early November.

Griesbacher will work closely with the group’s compliance, marketing and customer service teams with a focus on responsible gambling, know your customer and source of funds regulations.

Griesbacher joins from PXP Financial, formerly a part of GVC Group as Kalixa, where she served as chief operating officer. She will be based in Gibraltar and report directly to group chief operating officer Shay Segev.

Cole-Johnson joins as gaming product director with responsibility for the group’s casino, live casino and bingo products, having previously served at Rank Group, William Hill and Ladbrokes. He will be based in London and reports to deputy COO Valery Gelfman.

Shares in GVC Holdings plc (LSE:GVC) were trading down 0.81 per cent at 755.21 pence per share in London Monday morning.
