Stockholm-listed fantasy sports provider Scout Gaming Group has appointed Terje Bolstad as its new chief operating officer (COO).
Bolstad joins Scout Gaming from recruitment consultancy Experis IT where he spent two years as region manager. Prior to that he held positions including sales manager at Umoe Consulting, department manager at Logica Norge, and product manager at Xerox Partner Vest.
“We are pleased to welcome Terje Bolstad to Scout Gaming,” said Scout Gaming chief executive Andreas Ternstom. “As we are currently undergoing some heavy growth, rolling out new clients and products at a rapid pace, we want to secure our processes, structures and our agility even further to meet and deliver over the expectations from our existing and coming customers.”
Commenting on his appointment, Bolstad said: “I’m impressed how Scout Gaming in a very short time frame, has taken a land grab of a new market. Growing the market within media and the global betting industry with latest technology, demands us to be productive, innovative and meeting customer demands.
“Our focus in upcoming years will be to strengthen the position we already have, serving the market new products to attract more end-users.”
Shares in Scout Gaming Group (STO:SCOUT) were unchanged at SEK11.05 per share in Stockholm Friday morning, ahead of their 52-week and all-time low of SEK9.12 per share.
