Stanleybet appoints new head of technology for B2B division

Liverpool-based gaming operator Stanleybet Group has appointed Domenico Vacchiano as head of technology of its B2B division Magellan Robotech.

Based in Liverpool, Vacchiano will lead the development of Magellan Robotech’s gaming platform for B2B markets.

Vacchiano brings more than 20 years of experience with him to the role, joining from Gaming Innovation Group (GiG), where he held the positions of tech leader and director of software development.

Prior to GiG, Vacchiano was chief technology officer at casino aggregation platform WeAreCasino and also worked for the UK branch of mobile app developer Derivco, where he helped to develop Betway’s iOS app.

“I’m proud that Domenico has decided to join our team and I am looking forward to seeing how much our development team will benefit from his experience and technical competence,” said Stanleybet Group executive director Pierluigi Chiusolo. “Domenico will work very close to myself and the head of the online products to build the next generation platform and make available to the industry one of the most appealing and complete turnkey solutions.”
