Scientific Games names new leadership team for gaming division

New York-listed supplier Scientific Games has strengthened its Gaming leadership team with a trio of appointments.

Matt Wilson has been named executive vice president and group chief executive of Scientific Games' Gaming division, replacing Derik Mooberry, who will be transitioning to a strategic advisory role to support the new leadership team.

Wilson has spent over 15 years at rival supplier Aristocrat, most recently serving as president and managing director of Americas. He begins his new role on 1 March.

He will be joined by Siobhan Lane, who will assume the new role of chief commercial officer of Gaming on 1 February, and Connie James, who joined Scientific Games as chief financial officer at the beginning of this month.

Lane has over twelve years' experience in the gaming industry and most recently served as senior vice president of marketing and gaming operations at Aristocrat Technologies. James also worked at Aristocrat as CFO of gaming and joined Scientific Games from US food and agriculture supplier Cargill.

Shares in Scientific Games Corporation (NSQ:SGMS) closed down 6.04 per cent at $25.51 per share in New York Tuesday.
