The proposed merger between PartyGaming plc and bwin Interactive Entertainment AG took a step closer to completion Friday after shareholders in both companies voted in favour of the merger.
Over 99 per cent of both groups of shareholders voted in favour of the proposed merger, described by the two companies as a key milestone in the overall process, which now moves on to a court hearing scheduled for March 15th to sanction the merger.
