Cherry fights back against Norway’s EuroLotto injunction

Swedish online gaming operator Cherry has filed a lawsuit against the Norwegian government following an injunction issued against the company by the Norwegian Gaming and Foundation Authority two years ago.

The Norwegian Gaming and Foundation Authority, the state body responsible for the supervision and control of all private and state operated lotteries, gambling and horse racing in the country, ordered Cherry to cease marketing and offering its EuroLotto.com product to Norwegian citizens in April 2011.
