Unibet buys out Sportingbet’s share in Bonza Gaming

Swedish gaming operator Unibet has bought out Sportingbet’s share of Bonza Gaming, the real-money social gaming joint venture launched at the end of last year with developer Plumbee.

Unibet has signed a conditional agreement to acquire 100 per cent of Social Gambling (Channel Islands) Ltd (SGCI), which holds slightly less than 50 per cent interest in Bonza, alongside co-investor Plumbee.

After expected dilution for incentive schemes, Unibet’s equity interest in Bonza will be approximately 45 per cent.
