International Game Technology (IGT) and Lottomatica have partnered to offer game content and terminals to the Italian video lottery terminal (VLT) market.
The agreement will enable IGT to enter the lucrative Italian VLT market, worth an estimated US$2bn annually in gross gaming revenues, with market leader Lottomatica delivering IGT game content to “a high percentage” of its approximately 9,000 installed terminals.
IGT’s games will initially be made available to Lottomatica in Italy on an exclusive basis.
