The European Commission has agreed to co-finance a significant part of the betting industry’s player education programme delivered by EUAthletes, the federation of European players associations.
The betting industry programme is one of five awarded grants to deliver education campaigns aimed at tackling match-fixing at source by addressing the issue directly with players and sporting officials.
