Lotteries comprising the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL) generated total sales of nearly US$20.5bn during the first quarter of 2014, an increase of 5 per cent compared to the same period last year.
The results include revenue from 45 lotteries in the United States, as well as five provincial lotteries in Canada.
