New Jersey has wasted no time in taking action to repeal the states prohibition against sports betting, with both houses of the legislature voting overwhelmingly in favour of the move Thursday.
Senate Bill 2250 was introduced Monday by Senators Raymond Lesniak and Jim Whelan in response to the Supreme Court's decision to deny the state's request to review a September 2013 court ruling which barred New Jersey from legalising sports betting.
