GTECH has brought in Neil Abrams from technology giant IBM to head up its legal team, with the company also confirming that its acquisition of US supplier International Game Technology will be completed next Tuesday.
Abrams joins GTECH as senior vice president and general counsel, where he will be responsible for overseeing all legal and corporate governance matters for the company
He will report to GTECH executive vice president and chief financial officer Alberto Fornaro.
