European online gaming operator Betclic Everest Group has reacted with shock at the news that it potentially faces a court case over its operations in Belgium.
The Belgian Gaming Commission (BGC) revealed yesterday that €600,000 of player funds have been seized following a financial investigation by the country’s Public Prosecution Office.
The investigation was launched over concerns that the funds were related to illegal online gaming transactions involving the operator.
