China Netcom Technology Holdings has entered into an agreement to provide electronic video lottery terminals to the Hainan Provincial Sports Lottery Administration Centre.
Shenzhen Huancai Puda, a subsidiary of the company, won an open bid for the province of Hainan, and claims that it is the first time an open bid has been offered by the Chinese government for the procurement of VLTs in the sports lottery market.
Last year, sales of sports lotteries products reached RMB132.8bn.
