Tabcorp lodges appeal against Victoria judgement

Australian gaming operator Tabcorp has appealed against a ruling by the Supreme Court of Victoria that rejected its claim for compensation after its licence in the state was allowed to expire.

The court rejected the operator’s claim for a payment of $686.83m after its gaming and wagering licences expired alongside that of fellow licensee Tatts Group, breaking the pair’s duopoly for operating poker machines across the state.
