Gaming technology and services supplier Playtech has acquired the lotteries business of Aristocrat for €10.5m.
Aristocrat Lotteries provides video lottery terminals (VLTs) to Cogetech in Italy and to Norsk Tipping in Norway, but has recorded a recent decline in the number of VLTs it operates.
Aristocrat said the sale of the lotteries business will enable it to focus on key growth areas, particularly premium game content distribution.
