The Chinese lottery market generated total sales of RMB31.5bn during the month of August, an increase of 28 per cent compared to the same period last year.
Lottery sales were down 15 per cent versus the previous month, with Sports Lottery sales falling 27 per cent as a result of the positive impact of the football World Cup in July.
