New Jersey's plans to launch sports betting have been put on ice after the four major US sports leagues and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) succeeded in securing a temporary restraining order to block the Monmouth Park racetrack from offering and accepting bets from customers over the weekend.
The racetrack had originally planned to go live with its sports betting offering yesterday (Sunday October 26th).
