Australian casino entertainment group Crown Resorts has entered into a joint venture agreement to combine the sportsbook business of its Betfair Australia subsidiary with corporate bookmaker BetEasy.
BetEasy’s sports betting business will be combined with Crown’s wholly owned Betfair Pty subsidiary, with the resulting joint venture to be 67 per cent owned by Crown and 33 per cent by BetEasy owners.
The combined business will be managed by the BetEasy team, led by chief executive Matthew Tripp.
