Playtech is launching its iPoker network in the Czech Republic through a partnership with Fortuna Entertainment Group.

Fortuna has partnered with Playtech for its first foray into poker, giving players in the Czech Republic access to a diverse range of poker games and a strong international pool of players.

Playtech has worked with Fortuna for a number of years, integrating its IMS and PAM platforms to power the launch of six Fortuna brands across five countries, including the operator’s PSK.hr brand in Croatia.

Shares in Playtech plc (LSE:PTEC) were trading 2.26 per cent higher at 460.70 pence per share in London Monday morning.
