Online gaming operator Gamesys has entered into an agreement with FremantleMedia UK to develop and promote an exclusive bingo game, as well as a series of slots and instant-win games, based on the hit TV show Take Me Out.

Fronted by Paddy McGuinness, Take Me Out is a dating show which airs during primetime on Saturday evenings on ITV, the UK’s largest commercial broadcaster.

Gamesys will develop a range of online and mobile/tablet games based on the TV show, featuring bespoke audio and visual content, as well as using elements of the show including McGuinness’ popular catch-phrases such as “no likey, no lighty.”

Lee Fenton, Gamesys’ chief operating officer said: “This is a great opportunity for us to take a much loved UK TV brand and together with FremantleMedia, develop a suite of games that will stay true to the programme’s format as well creating exceptional game experiences for our customers.”

The first product to be released will be a Take Me Out online bingo game, which will be made available at Gamesys’ UK-facing Jackpotjoy.com website this week.

Simon Murphy, head of gaming for FremantleMedia UK, said that shows like Take Me Out have broad national appeal and players can easily identify with both the format and the brand.

“We are very excited that the Take Me Out games will reach such a wide audience via the Gamesys Group who are the perfect partner for this initiative with one of our most proudly owned shows,” said Murphy.

Take Me Out was launched in 2010 and has been successfully produced by FremantleMedia in 15 countries including Australia, Sweden, Denmark, Holland, Spain, Indonesia, and Finland.

FremantleMedia is part of leading European entertainment network RTL Group, which in turn is 75.1 per cent owned by the international media company Bertelsmann.
