France’s FDJ has this week unveiled a new brand which will form the core of its sports betting offering, replacing the numerous brands which have been offered thus far via fdjeux.com.

The company said the new ParionsWeb.fr sports betting site will amalgamate its existing online offerings such as Cote & Match, Cote & Score and Loto Foot, presenting a single image on the web and providing more information, services and advice to players.

The launch is part of the wider restructuring programme currently underway at the state-controlled gaming operator ahead of market liberalisation next year.

ParionsWeb will initially offer the same range of 150 weekly bets that are currently available through FDJ, while expanding the offering over time to meet the demands of customers and sporting schedules.

The sports betting offering will be supplemented with a range of features designed to inform and entertain players, including WebTV and WebRadio broadcasts featuring sports personalities and tipsters. The site will also provide access to information such as championship rankings, live scores and tutorial videos designed to help players get the most out of the betting experience.
