Twitch agrees esports rights deal for the Overwatch League

Amazon-owned online streaming platform Twitch has agreed a major media rights partnership with the Overwatch League, the world’s first global city-based esports league which kicks off today.

The two year deal sees Twitch named the exclusive worldwide third-party digital provider of the Overwatch League regular season, playoffs and championship matches, in all markets outside of China.
