Play’n GO has released Wrappin’ More Gold, a five-reel, 20-payline video slot that places a growing mummy at the heart of three Collect & Win features.

Pharaoh Khufu’s hunt for celestial treasure has torn open the realms, scattering red, green and purple gems across sky, fortress and underworld. Queen Cleo and Ptolemy unite against him across an Ancient Egypt of gilded pyramids, temple stone, scarabs and the shadowy depths of the Duat.

Three coloured pots sit above the reels, collecting Scatter Gems of the corresponding colour, while two treasure chests gather Bonus Spins Symbols and Wilds. A Collect & Win Scatter Gem can activate one of three dedicated rounds, as can a Mummy symbol on reel one landing alongside at least one Collect & Win Scatter Gem. Up to three pots can be active at once.

Each Collect & Win round begins with five spins and a 2×2 mummy that collects the Coins and Gems landing in its area. As Gems fill the meter, the mummy grows, expanding its collection area until it can cover the whole reel set, and growth can return spins to the round.

The rounds bring their own additions: wider reel sets, Extra Spins Gems, 2× and 3× multipliers across the mummy’s collection area, and Double Coins and Double Gems.

Three or more Bonus Spins Symbols award six Bonus Spins, with retriggers adding three further spins up to a maximum of 33. Collect & Win and the Instant Bonus are more likely to activate while the feature is in progress.

Wilds substitute for all symbols apart from Scatter Gems, Bonus Spins Symbols and Mummy symbols. A Wild can also trigger the Instant Bonus in either the base game or Bonus Spins: a pick round of 15 mystery symbols, where the first three matching symbols settle the prize.

GO Ultra begins Collect & Win with three extra Gems on the meter and further increases the chance of activating the feature during Bonus Spins.

Magnus Wallentin, games ambassador at Play’n GO, said: “Collecting features work best when their progress is immediately visible. In Wrappin’ More Gold, the mummy is both the collector and the clearest sign of how the round is developing. Every Gem helps it command more of the grid, giving the feature a strong visual sense of momentum.”
