Yggdrasil has strengthened its South African presence after securing new partnerships with SportyBet and Playco.za.

The double launch gives both operators access to a portfolio featuring Yggdrasil’s established titles, including MexoMax, Bob Marlin Goes Deep, Vikings Go to Olympus, and the globally popular Raptor 2 DoubleMax, together with fresh content from studios in the YGGMasters Program.

In total, more than 100 games have been added to the brands’ libraries.

The partnerships come at a time of strong momentum for South Africa’s iGaming sector. According to the National Gambling Board, the market generated €75.47 billion in turnover during the 2024/25 financial year, reinforcing its status as a key regulated market for suppliers looking to scale across the continent. 

Enabled via Intelligent Gaming, the integrations support Yggdrasil’s wider strategy of expanding into high-potential regulated markets and delivering proven content to more players through trusted local partners.
