Brazil Slot Intel Report: Week 22 / 2025

Gaming Intelligence presents the latest Slot Intel report for the week ended May 31, ranking the most popular games in Brazil’s regulated iGaming market.

The Slot Intel score combines a game’s position on an operator’s site with that operator’s estimated market share to make sure that key positions – such as top left and featured games – score highest when they appear on the most popular sites. 

This is calculated daily, giving the most accurate picture of content positioning market share and a great indication of studio performance in that market.

Launch tactics evolve as market matures

The market is holding steady at 60–70 new game launches per week, but raw volume no longer guarantees cut-through. Studios winning the visibility battle are those that land multi-operator launches, going live across 10+ brands on day one.

Pragmatic Play and Playtech lead in scale, but smaller studios like PopOK and Hacksaw are punching above their weight with targeted, high-impact drops on key brands.

On the operator side, the pace is relentless. Top sites like Betano and Superbet are refreshing their lobbies constantly — most new games get a week or less in top-tier positions unless they carry proven IP or promo muscle. This makes early placement critical and heavily favors studios that can deliver bundled launches with pre-aligned positioning.

As the market matures, it’s clear: success comes from coordination, not clutter. Launches backed by strategic distribution and operator alignment are outperforming those relying on brute-force volume. Coordinated launches in high value positions seem to deliver the must-have, me-too factor.

This chart shows the share a studio has of game positions. The Slot Intel algorithm accounts for the position of the game on each page, giving a higher share value to games on the top left and games in featured game slots. It also accounts for our estimated Brazilian market share of each operators site, so a game top left on a site like Betano will score highly.

Top Studio Crossovers and Competitive Movements

Brazil’s top 10 studio rankings remained fluid through late May, with several pivotal shifts reshaping mid-tier dynamics and reinforcing the battle at the top.

Smartsoft Gaming extended its upward momentum, delivering one of the month’s most significant multi-operator climbs. On May 20, it leapfrogged Playtech, Popok Gaming, and Tada Gaming in a single day, powered by Jetx (148.4) and Balloon (51.9). 

A second surge on May 30 saw Smartsoft move ahead of Endorphina as Jetx returned with another strong day (163.6).

In the tightly contested ranks around positions 6 to 9, Ruby Play moved ahead of Endorphina on May 30, driven by Go High Panda (95.8) and Ten Ton Ways Goldfish (34.2). PopOK Gaming also overtook Endorphina that day, thanks to strong performances from Rico Rabbit (65.6) and Alpaca Pays (60.1).

Earlier in the month, Endorphina had briefly reclaimed ground over PopOK on May 20, led by Hell Hot 100 and 7 Blue Slot, but was unable to sustain the gain.

At the top, Pragmatic Play reclaimed the #1 position from PG Soft on May 27, reversing a multi-week trend. This shift was driven by massive daily scores from flagship titles Spaceman (190.4) and Gates of Olympus (189.3) — a clear reminder that the right combination of IP strength and operator exposure can swing top rankings in days.

Further down, Playtech overtook RubyPlay on May 23, with Piggy Mania and Tiger Jones anchoring the lift, while PopoK Gaming made additional gains over Tada Gaming on May 21 via a one-two punch from Rico Rabbit and Avi.

These movements underline how competitive the landscape has become. A single game — if placed well and resonating across key operators — can still define a studio’s trajectory over a matter of days.
