Eeze chief commercial officer Graeme Powrie and Yggdrasil CEO James Curwen discuss the recent partnership between the two providers, as Eeze becomes first supplier to utilise Yggdrasil’s next-generation slot creation technology, Studio in a Box.
What does this Studio in a Box partnership actually involve, and why does it matter for the industry right now?
Powrie: The Studio in a Box partnership gives Eeze a low-friction route to expand both our product portfolio and our market footprint at pace.
By using Yggdrasil’s established technology, infrastructure and studio environment, our slots team can focus on developing high-quality proprietary titles while benefiting from immediate access to a much broader distribution network.
This supports our multi-vertical growth strategy by adding more proprietary content to our portfolio and allows us to enter new markets with greater speed, and with real efficiency and impact. It also gives us valuable market insight earlier, helping inform our broader expansion priorities as we scale.

Curwen (pictured right): Studio in a Box is a complete end-to-end solution that enables operators and suppliers to build and launch their own portfolio of original slot games without having to build or buy a studio.
Historically, if an operator or supplier wanted to enter the slots market, the choices were limited. They either had to acquire an existing studio – an expensive and time-consuming process – or spend years building one themselves.
Studio in a Box changes that. By combining Yggdrasil’s proven platform with our next-generation Game in a Box technology, we enable partners to create unique, high-quality games and bring them to market dramatically faster. Our partners define the brand, creative direction and the type of games they want to create, while we provide the expertise and technology to turn that vision into reality.
For the industry, this is a genuine step change. It lowers the barriers to entry, shortens time to market and gives operators and suppliers a faster, smarter route to building differentiated proprietary content.
What made this the right partnership for both companies at this point in time?
GP: Eeze is a young, ambitious and fast-growing brand with a clear plan to expand across products and markets. Partnering with Yggdrasil is highly complementary to that ambition. It’s a well-known fact that the iGaming industry is one that moves at a startling pace, and we are always looking for smarter, faster and more efficient ways to grow. Studio in a Box is an innovative, AI-driven model with the potential to shape how content is developed and distributed in future. Being an early adopter gives us a chance to learn quickly, move ahead of the curve and create a competitive advantage.
JC: Eeze has already established itself as a strong and ambitious player in the live dealer space, so expanding into proprietary slot content is the natural next step. They bring a strong brand, deep market knowledge and a clear vision for the type of games they want to create.
That makes them an ideal Studio in a Box partner. They focus on the creative direction and commercial vision, while Yggdrasil provides the platform, expertise and Game in a Box technology to turn that vision into reality- at speed.
The pace of delivery demonstrates exactly why this model works. Although we’ve only recently signed the partnership, the first games are already scheduled to launch before the end of the year.
How does this deal fit into each company’s broader strategy and growth ambitions?
GP: For Eeze, the partnership accelerates two important priorities: market reach and portfolio growth.
Access to Yggdrasil’s distribution network significantly widens our path to market and allows us to approach multiple markets sooner than we could through direct integrations alone. It also increases visibility for our brand and opens commercial conversations with operators earlier, including opportunities to introduce our wider live casino and multi-vertical product offering.
JC: For Eeze, this partnership is a key part of its long-term growth strategy. Under the leadership of its CEO, the business has built a strong team and established a successful position in live casino. Expanding into proprietary slot content is the next logical step, and Studio in a Box gives them the fastest route to achieving that ambition.

For Yggdrasil, this is an important milestone. It is the first commercial deployment of Studio in a Box with a supplier, demonstrating that the model isn’t just for operators looking to enter the slots market. It also enables ambitious suppliers to build high-quality proprietary content faster, more efficiently and at scale.
More broadly, this partnership validates our vision for Studio in a Box: making premium slot development faster, more scalable and more accessible for ambitious companies across the industry.
What can the market expect to see from this partnership, and on what timeline?
GP (pictured right): The market can expect a strong pipeline of new Eeze slot titles, supported by a planned cadence of two games per month across multiple regions. The partnership creates a close development track between both parties, with the first games expected towards the end of the year. Alongside our existing portfolio across slots and live casino, this gives us greater flexibility to serve operators with a broader and more consistent content roadmap. We’re really excited to be an early adopter of Studio in a Box, and are positive it will have a major impact for our development roadmap.
JC: The market should expect to see a very ambitious content strategy from Eeze. They have a clear vision for the brand they want to build and the type of games they want to deliver, and we believe they have all the ingredients to become a significant new contender in the slots market.
The first games are expected to launch before the end of the year, despite the partnership only recently being signed. From there, the plan is to launch two new games every month.
We believe that’s the right cadence to build momentum, establish the Eeze brand in slots and quickly become recognised by operators and players alike. We’re excited to help bring that vision to life and believe this partnership will demonstrate just how quickly Studio in a Box can turn ambition into commercial success.
