PokerStars is rolling out its latest live tournament series Megastack to new markets following its successful UK debut earlier this month.

The Megastack series is primarily aimed at recreational players, offering them the opportunity to hone their skills without major investment through low buy-ins.

The first Megastack event was held at London's Hippodrome Casino earlier this month and is now being expanded with events across Belgium, France, Malta and Ireland.

The series offers a total guaranteed prize pool of €500,000, with the PokerStars La Grande-Motte Megastack event in France scheduled for September offering the single largest prize pool of €100,000.

"PokerStars Megastack is the perfect opportunity for you and your mates to get together to play poker, whether that's for pure fun or as a stepping stone in your poker career," Team PokerStars Pro Jake Cody explained.

"Players can expect an awesome poker experience and it will definitely be unforgettable for most players."

A series of online satellite tournaments will offer players the chance to qualify for the live events with buy-ins as little as €1.10.
