Lottery betting operator MultiLotto has launched in the Irish market after securing licence approval from the National Excise License Office.

The Irish remote gaming licence is a key step in the international expansion of MultiLotto, which has primarily focused on the Nordic market until now.

"Multilotto.ie is the choice for customers who want an accessible and simple way of playing lotteries from around the world and we’re very pleased to bring this exciting offering to the Irish market," chief executive Thomas Biro said.

"Our business model is well established in the Nordic region and we believe that Irish customers will be equally attracted to our offering."

MultiLotto's Irish site offers players 11 international lottery jackpots, including PowerBall and MegaMillions from the US, and EuroMillions and EuroJackpot in Europe.
