The High Court of England on Friday upheld the position of the Levy Board by ruling that customers of betting exchanges are not liable to pay the Horserace betting levy.
The UK Horserace Betting Levy Board had previously found that betting exchange customers are not liable to pay the levy, a position that was challenged by UK bookmaker William Hill, who instigated the judicial review last September.
