Raketech has appointed co-founder Johan Svensson as the company’s new permanent CEO.
Svensson has served in the role on an interim basis since the departure of former chief executive Oskar Mühlbach in January.
Svensson co-founded Raketech in 2010 when the company was a focused online poker affiliate for the Scandinavian market.
He served as CEO until 2017 when he transitioned to chief commercial officer and handed the reins to Michael Holmberg.
On Svensson’s appointment, Raketech chairman Ulrik Bengtsson said: “His deep connection and commitment to Raketech and proven leadership abilities make him the ideal choice to steer the company into its next phase of growth.”
Svensson added: “I am excited to return to the role of CEO at Raketech. I look forward to working with our talented team to build on our strong foundation and drive further innovation and growth. Our focus will remain on delivering exceptional value to our customers, employees, and shareholders.”
Shares in Raketech Group Holding plc (STO:RAKE) were trading 0.82 per cent lower at SEK12.08 per share in Stockholm Tuesday morning.
