Comtrade will support 7bet’s expansion in Northern and Eastern Europe and power Canadian Bank Note in Central America and the Caribbean region

Comtrade Gaming has agreed a platform deal with 7bet in Europe, as well as a deal to power Canadian Bank Note in Central America.

The 7bet agreement will see Comtrade provide the iGaming platform to launch 7bet’s operations in Latvia and Estonia, with Finland to follow when the re-regulated market opens next year.

Steven Valentine, chief commercial officer at Comtrade Gaming, commented: “We are delighted to partner with 7bet at such an exciting stage of their growth journey. This agreement reflects the strength and scalability of our iGaming platform, particularly in regulated and soon-to-regulate markets such as Finland.

“Supporting 7bet’s expansion across Latvia, Estonia, and Finland highlights our ability to deliver seamless multi-market solutions for established operators who want to expand. We look forward to a long and successful collaboration.”

Justinas Sliazas, CEO of 7bet, added: “Partnering with Comtrade Gaming is a key step in our strategy to expand and strengthen our presence across regulated European markets. Their technology provides the flexibility and reliability we need to scale efficiently while maintaining a high-quality player experience. We are particularly excited about the opportunities in Finland and confident that this partnership positions us strongly for future growth.”

Comtrade has also secured a new platform deal with lottery and gaming operator Canadian Bank Note Company (CBN), supporting all of CBN’s online lottery and gaming operations throughout Central America and the Caribbean.

“We were delighted to be selected by CBN as their iGaming Platform provider across their lottery, sports and casino operations,” said Valentine. “Migrating from their own proprietary technology was a big decision, and our joint teams worked seamlessly to achieve a successful migration. From the initial selection through to the migration, is a testament to how seriously we take our clients’ business.”

Kirk Arends, president of CBN’s lottery and gaming division, added: “We were looking for a long-term platform partner who not only could supply us with world-class modern technology but who also had similar values, and long term commitment to partnerships.

“On one side of our business, we print currencies for governments; trust doesn’t come much higher. We wanted the same level of trust and experience from our iGaming platform partner, and we found that with Comtarde Gaming.”

In related news, Kambi recently agreed a multi-year sportsbook deal to power CBN’s Let’s Bet and Apostemos brands, with an initial focus on Central America and the Caribbean.
