Gaming supplier SHFL entertainment has signed a strategic alliance with Canada’s Amaya Gaming Group, under which it will become the exclusive U.S distributor of Amaya's online gaming platform, including the company’s Ongame poker network.
SHFL and Amaya have entered into a ten-year agreement which will commence following the execution of the definitive agreement.
SHFL will pay Amaya US$10m for the exclusive rights, with both companies sharing all revenues equally as well as splitting all direct U.S operational expenses such as hosting, hardware and licensing costs.
Upon the execution of the definitive agreement, SHFL will pay Amaya $2m and have the immediate ability to offer its B2B customers the Amaya Gaming Platform (AGP) casino content and Ongame poker solution for free-to-play social casino.
