Society lottery operator The Health Lottery has dismissed the UK Gambling Commission's concerns that its partnership with bookmaker Coral could see money raised through the venture diverted away from charitable causes.
The companies have partnered to launch Health Lottery Plus, which allows players to bet on the outcome of the lottery draw in Coral shops and through its website for £1, half the price of a National Lottery ticket.
