German sports betting operator Tipico has rolled out Betradar’s live sports streaming solution across a number of its retail betting shops in Germany.

Betradar’s Live Channel, which was released last year, combines live odds, live statistics and live pictures from sporting events around the world on one single screen.

The product provides a wide range of international media rights, such as the French Ligue 1 and Coupe de la Ligue, American Major League Soccer, Spanish Basketball league and several international ATP and WTA tournaments, among others.

Tipico has rolled out the live sports channel in over 200 shops across Germany, and intends to connect up to 1,000 shops, as well as expand links in Austria, Belgium and Denmark.

“Betradar’s Live Channel is an intelligent and attractive live streaming solution that significantly improves our retail business,” said Tipico’s director of communication and marketing Christian Gruber. “Our customers can look forward to a new live streaming experience combining excitement, entertainment and information. Especially our franchise partners will benefit from the enhancement of our offerings.”

The Live Channel currently provides live sports coverage for an average of 12 hours per day enabling retail bettingshops to extend their live betting offering for their entire business hours.

Sportradar’s managing director of sales Erik Lorenz said the company was “very pleased” to have won Tipico as a partner for its Live Channel Retail.

“The partnership is a great addition to our success story of our innovative combination of live sports broadcasts around the clock with all the relevant information such live statistics and live odds on a single screen,” he said. “Tipico will be able to provide their clients with a new level of entertainment and drive their business.”.

Betradar’s Live Channel is currently incorporated in more than 1,000 betting shops across Europe and has expanded recently into the African market.
