Sports data and content provider Sportradar has signed a multi-year deal with the National Football League (NFL) to serve as the exclusive distributor of NFL statistics to digital outlets.
Beginning in the 2015 NFL season, Sportradar will supply official real-time scores, player statistics and play-by-play data. It will also distribute the NFL’s proprietary Next Gen Stats, which consists of real-time location-based data such as speed, acceleration and distance travelled for all players, in all games.
The agreement will enable the NFL to distribute statistical data in new and innovative ways across a variety of endpoints, including apps, social media platforms, and connected devices.
