Quick Custom Intelligence (QCI) is enhancing its casino management platform following the acquisition of casino analytics platform VizExplorer.

The acquisition brings VizExplorer back under the control of its original founders, QCI’s Ralph Thomas and Andrew Cardno, and gives QCI ownership of a host of tools and patents to enhance the QCI platform.

QCI will also benefit from VizExplorer’s strong international customer base, with VizExplorer’s slot, player development and marketing solutions currently deployed across six continents.

“VizExplorer was our brainchild years ago, and we poured our knowledge and passion into developing ground-breaking analytics for the gaming industry,” said Andrew Cardno, co-founder and chief technology officer of QCI.

“To have VizExplorer back under our guidance is deeply meaningful – it’s like a reunion with an old friend. We are incredibly proud to once again champion its innovative spirit and continue developing its unique capabilities for the casino world.”

QCI chief executive and co-founder Dr. Ralph Thomas commented: “We recognize the loyalty and value that VizExplorer’s products have brought to operators globally. Our goal is to honor and extend that legacy. The combination of VizExplorer’s analytics prowess with QCI’s modern AI-driven platform is a win-win for casinos looking to activate their data in smarter ways.

“This is a full-circle moment for us,” Thomas added. “We’re bringing back the technology we pioneered and giving it new life within QCI. The pride Andrew and I feel today is matched only by our determination to push the envelope further. VizExplorer’s return means our customers will gain deeper analytics, faster operational tools, and an even more robust product roadmap going forward.”

The QCI team, which has been bolstered by the addition of experts from VizExplorer, is now working to integrate VizExplorer’s intellectual property into the QCI platform.

“The Viz team is excited to complete transitioning our clients to the QCI Platform, offering a more user-friendly experience and deeper insights into player behaviors,” said Melissa Chiaurro, president of VizExplorer.

The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.

At the end of the first half of 2025, QCI’s platform was installed in over 300 resorts in North America and more than 1,000 sites globally.

The San Diego-based company experienced strong growth in Australia and Asia during the first half period, helping to drive 50 per cent organic growth versus the prior year period.

Commenting on the first half performance, Thomas said: “Posting 50 per cent organic growth in 2025 is a direct result of our focus on turning data into action, fast.  As we integrate VizExplorer, we’re widening our innovation pipeline and reinforcing our operational model to deliver measurable revenue impact and an even better guest experience.”

“Our AI-first architecture unifies marketing, slots, player development, and operations into one actionable platform,” added Cardno. “Bringing VizExplorer into QCI lets us move faster—expanding capabilities for existing customers while unlocking new opportunities across Australia, Asia, and beyond.”
