UK bookmaker William Hill has recorded a 1 per cent drop in group net revenue to £1,590.9m for the full 2015 year, its first annual decline in more than a decade, following disappointing results from its retail and Australian operations.

The operator benefited from a solid performance from its online channel during the year, with net revenue up 4 per cent to £550.7m, representing 35 per cent of total revenue. In its core markets of UK, Italy and Spain, net revenue climbed 11 per cent to £484.7m, helping to offset a 27 per cent decline in other markets to £67.0m.
