The parent company of 34 of the UK’s leading racetracks, Racecourse Media Group (RMG), has revealed its revenue from media rights has risen to £80.2m in 2015, aided by streaming rights deals and new overseas broadcast contracts.

The 8 per cent increase in media rights payments was generated predominantly from the Turf TV business (a joint venture with Timeweave plc), which generated £51m in licence fees, compared to £29.2m for the main RMG business.
