Hong Kong-listed lottery and gaming provider AGTech Holdings has reported a 44 per cent decrease in revenue to HK$168.6m for 2018, following a significant decline in its games and entertainment division.

Revenue from games and entertainment fell by $86.0m compared to the previous year, mainly due to changes at the division aimed at improving the overall quality, as well as the sustainability of the business.

Sales of lottery hardware also decreased, down $60.3m year-on-year, which was partially offset by an increase of $6.7m in revenue from lottery games and systems, and a $5.9m increase in revenue from the provision of distribution and ancillary services.
