London-listed games developer Gaming Realms has posted gross gaming revenue (GGR) of £10.8m for the first quarter of 2019, with the company now focusing solely on developing and licensing games content for third party operators.

Due to the difficult UK regulatory environment, Gaming Realms disposed of its affiliate marketing business and part of its B2C real-money gaming (RMG) business last year. In February the company exchanged contracts to sell the remaining B2C RMG business to River iGaming for £11.5m.

Now focused on the development and licensing of games for third party real-money and social gaming operators, Gaming Realms said that Q1 GGR increased by 37 per cent compared to the previous quarter’s £7.9m.
