Sweden’s regulated gambling market generated net gaming revenue of SEK5,895m (€475.3m) during the third quarter of 2019, with sports betting and online casino representing nearly two-thirds of the total.

Based on preliminary data from the Swedish Tax Agency, third quarter revenue fell by 3.5 per cent compared to the previous quarter’s SEK6,111m, despite continued growth from the newly regulated sports betting and online casino segment, which saw revenue reach SEK3,484m in Q3.
