Illinois’ regulated sports betting market generated total wagers of $537.2m during the month of April.
April wagers at the state’s nine operational sportsbooks were down 15 per cent compared to the previous month’s record $633.6m, with online wagers accounting for $513.2m and retail contributing $23.9m.
A total of $513.9m was wagered on professional sports, with $22.8m bet on college sports and a further $495,124 on motor races.
