New York-listed racing and gaming operator Penn National Gaming has reported a 13 per cent drop in revenue to $1.12bn for the first quarter of 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic impacted its results in March.
Penn National enjoyed a strong start to the year with record results in January and February, and every segment performing ahead of expectations, driven in large part by the introduction of retail sports betting at several properties.
