London-based social casino studio Plumbee has relaunched the iOS version of its Mirrorball Slots app, renaming the product Mirroball Slots: Kingdom of Riches as it looks to boost user numbers and revenue.
The operator has worked to improve the user experience by overhauling the technology to make it more flexible for integrating content, as well as reducing content integration time and improving performance across all devices.
Plumbee has also enhanced the product with changes to the challenges feature in the game, and by adding a new lobby animation to refresh its look and feel. It has also bolstered the content available in the app with the addition of four new slots; Treasure Island, Supernova, Firestorm and Sinbad.
“We feel, with the level of technical, product and art improvements we have made, that our game is now one of the strongest in the marketplace,” the company’s product manager Adam Zaki commented.
Mirrorball Slots was originally released on iOS in July last year but the company felt that there was potential for additional growth in users and revenue, so decided to totally revamp the product.
Plumbee chief executive Raf Keustermans added that the mobile team had “worked flat out” to launch the product over the past month, describing the result as “truly amazing” and “one of the strongest mobile slots games” on the market.
“With this re-launch of our iOS slots app we have now firmly established Plumbee as a multi-platform company,” he added.
The roll-out of the app comes after the operator saw revenue treble year-on-year, rising from £4m in its 2012-13 financial year to almost £12m in 2013-14.
