Gaming Realms' bingo and slots hybrid game Slingo is now live in New Jersey via Rush Street Interactive's SugarHouse-branded iGaming site. has gone live with real-money Slingo Riches and Slingo Extreme games, with additional variants set for future release.

"Slingo has been a fan favorite in the New Jersey game market for more than two decades, and we're excited to bring Slingo to a whole new online audience," Rush Street Interactive president Richard Schwartz said.

"On for the first time ever, Slingo fans can play Slingo games from their own home or actually anywhere in New Jersey, have loads of fun, and win real cash."

Slingo was first developed in 1995 by New Jersey resident Sal Falciglia Sr, and is now played by more than 55m people worldwide in the form of lottery tickets, slots, mobile titles and free-to-play games.

"I invented the game in New Jersey in 1995.  We launched the slot machines in Atlantic City in 2001 and now, in 2017, we've gone back to our roots to bring the online games to the USA," Falciglia Sr said. "Online gaming is the future for Slingo and I know it will be a success.  It's been a hit on every platform around the world."

Slingo was acquired by London-listed supplier Gaming Realms in 2015, and has since been developed into a number of new game variants and seen the launch of its own UK-facing destination site.

Shares in Gaming Realms plc. (Co. Data) (AIM:GMR) closed in London Monday up 2.08 per cent at 12.25 pence per share.
