Playtech has expanded its popular Age of the Gods series of games with a new 90-ball bingo variant, alongside a third bingo slot game.

Playtech’s Age of the Gods made its bingo debut earlier this year with two slot games, with the latest additions designed to recreate the look and feel of the popular suite.

The Age of the Gods Bingo room now boasts enhanced in-game animations and an added element of excitement with an extra chance to win.

When the bingo game ends, a 3x3 grid of Golden Coins will appear on screen and be visible to all players. The Full House winner will turn the coins one by one to reveal a God until they match three icons, with different prizes paid out to either the winner or the community depending on the God.

In addition to the new bingo room, a third bingo slot Age of the Gods: Athena vs Ares, has been launched this month.

In the 5-reel, 25-line slot, players pick their side in the battle of wills between Athena, Goddess of Wisdom and Ares, God of War in the three-stage bonus game. Players must choose the right champion for a chance to win major multipliers in the ultimate battle of the Gods in the final round. Extra features such as exploding reels add to the excitement, creating more ways to win.

“Age of the Gods has been a huge success and driven exceptional growth for Playtech and its partners, so bringing the brand to Bingo is a natural next step,” said Playtech managing director of digital bingo Angus Nisbet “The development team has done a fantastic job in recreating the look and feel of the series in the new Bingo room, and I’m confident players will love features such as the Golden Coins bonus.

“Lord of Lightning and King of the Underworld, released earlier this year, have already proved very popular with Bingo slots players, and with its innovative multi-round bonus, Athena vs Ares will make a great addition to the series. The combination of a growing range of games and the popularity of the Age of the Gods brand makes this an exciting cross-sell opportunity for operators.”

Shares in Playtech plc (LSE:PTEC) were trading down 1.09 per cent at 461.40 pence per share in London Friday morning.
