PokerStars' parent company The Rational Group is expected to fight on in New Jersey despite losing its appeal against an earlier decision by a New Jersey court to lift a temporary restraining order blocking the Atlantic Club's sale to a third party.

PokerStars had secured a temporary restraining order on May 6th against Colony Capital, owner of The Atlantic Club Hotel and Casino, to stop Colony Capital from entering negotiations with a third party and continue with its January 2013 agreement to sell the Atlantic Club to Rational. However, the temporary restraining order was overturned on May 17th by an Atlantic County Superior Court judge following an appeal by Colony Capital.
