The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is to establish a special unit to help coordinate efforts to preserve sporting integrity and the basic principles of the Olympic Games.
The unit, comprising a consultative group and experts’ network, will be charged with overseeing the IOC’s risk prevention relating to illegal betting activity and match-fixing, as well as disseminating information on each subject.
