Spain’s Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGOJ) has been approved to open a new thirty-day window for operators to apply for new online slot and exchange betting licences later this month, while new operators will also be able to apply to enter the market for the first time.

The Ministerial Order is the official starting point for the process, meaning that operators will not be able to submit their applications or pay relevant fees until the order is published.
